Founder: Adam Laird

Adam Laird is the founder of Ards Ventures and an investment industry specialist with more than 15 years' experience across asset management, ETFs, sales and distribution, product development and investment communications. He has worked with investment managers in the UK, Europe and internationally, helping firms launch funds, raise assets, build distribution and develop new markets.

Before founding Ards Ventures, Adam held senior roles at Hargreaves Lansdown and Lyxor Asset Management. Adam has extensive experience explaining investments to both professional and retail audiences.

He has appeared on BBC Radio 5 Live, BBC Radio Bristol, CNBC and Bloomberg, and has written about investment markets for publications including Dow Jones and Fund Strategy. He has also held industry and governance roles within asset management.
